Tension Release Exercises (for everyone)

What

TRE® is an accessible, body-oriented method to actively release stored tension and stress. By gradually reconnecting with your body's natural release mechanism, you learn how your body wants to let go of tension — and how you can facilitate that process. It's a useful tool for everyday stress, but with regular practice it can also support deeper healing processes.
The result? A calmer nervous system, fewer physical complaints, and more resilience.

How

A TRE® session takes about 1 hour and consists of a series of seven gentle physical exercises that invite all muscle groups to release tension. A tension release may look different for everyone — so stay curious. During the session(s) you also learn to better recognize and identify bodily sensations, and we also work on self-regulation.
I'll help you get started in a few sessions, after which you can continue this practice on your own on a regular basis.

Who

TRE® is for everyone — all are welcome. During the perinatal period it can be supportive in case of difficult conception, processing a traumatic birth or coping with a stressful start to parenthood. If you're pregnant and have never done TRE® before, it is recommended to wait until after the birth before starting. If in doubt, feel free to contact me first.
